Dog Training

We at Dog Whisperer World believe that good training involves, positive reward association, which basically evolves around training your dog in a positive & happy environment, with positive rewards (treats/affection), for positive/correct responses.

The main causality for badly behaved domestic dogs, is their interaction with humans.

Group Sessions

Very similar in structure to the individual session, but for groups of people with multiple dogs, benefiting; Kennels, Rescue Centres & Shelters, staff & canines, also Seminars in local halls, for local communities. (Please contact us for further info)

In our experience, a completely different approach (than the standard “weheey, whoopee eeeh aaah oooh”) for rescue dogs is necessary, as the wrong or inappropriate behaviour or handling of a rescue dog, can make rehoming some dogs difficult, or impossible.

Puppy Training Classes

These are at a large local park, Saturdays at 2pm. Here you can learn how teach your dog, Sit, Down, Stay, Come, Heel, Fetch, Leave, & to increase sociability.

This is very important at the early stages, as the more the owner knows from the beginning the easier the whole life of the dog will be.

Start as you mean to go on, for your dog to learn you must teach it!!, 1 word 1 action.

Never “Sit, Sit, Sit”. Just “Sit”. Class size is usually between 5-10 pups, dependant on breed & behaviour.

You will need:

• Clicker.
• All who live with Pup (if possible) & Puppy.

• Extension lead, a big bag of treats
